SAT Solution MMC ("we", "our", or "us") operates websites and mobile applications developed or published by our company.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services, applications, or visit our website.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

  • Personal information you voluntarily provide, such as name or email address (for example, when contacting us).
  • Technical information such as device type, operating system, and app usage data.
  • Log data, including IP address and basic analytics information.

We do not collect sensitive personal data unless explicitly required and permitted by law.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain our services
  • Improve application performance and user experience
  • Respond to user inquiries and support requests
  • Comply with legal obligations

Camera, QR Code Scanning and Photo Capture

Our application uses the device camera (android.permission.CAMERA) to support employee attendance tracking through QR code scanning and photo verification.

How the camera is used

The camera is used only in the following situations:

  • When an employee performs Check-In, the camera opens to scan a QR code and capture a selfie photo.
  • When an employee performs Check-Out, the same process is repeated (QR code scan + selfie photo).

These actions are initiated only by the user and require explicit user interaction.

Purpose of data collection

The collected data is used strictly for:

  • Recording employee check-in and check-out times
  • Verifying that the person checking in/out is the actual employee
  • Allowing HR personnel to review attendance records and verify identity when necessary

Data storage and retention

  • Selfie photos are securely stored on our server.
  • Photos are retained for a maximum of 7 days.
  • After 7 days, all photos are automatically and permanently deleted.
  • Attendance timestamps (check-in/check-out times) may be retained for reporting and HR purposes.

Data sharing

  • Photos and attendance data are not shared with third parties.
  • Access to this data is restricted to authorized HR personnel only.

Background access

The camera is never accessed in the background. Camera access occurs only when the user actively uses the check-in or check-out feature.

Location (GPS) Usage Policy

Location Data Usage

Our application may request access to the device's location services (GPS) to verify the physical presence of an employee during check-in and check-out actions.

How location data is used

Location data is accessed only at the moment when the user:

  • Performs Check-In
  • Performs Check-Out

The purpose of accessing location data is to:

  • Verify that the employee is within an allowed radius of the workplace
  • Prevent fraudulent check-ins or check-outs from unauthorized locations

Scope of location access

  • Location data is not accessed in the background
  • Location tracking is not continuous
  • Location access occurs only with explicit user action

Data storage

  • GPS coordinates are used only for real-time verification
  • Location data is not permanently stored
  • Location data is not shared with third parties

User control

  • Users can enable or disable location services through their device settings
  • Location permission is requested only when required for attendance verification

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.

Information may be shared only:

  • To comply with legal requirements
  • To protect our rights and users
  • With service providers strictly for operational purposes

Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
